Johnny Gasparic

As anyone who has experienced success in the studio knows, you’ll need more than just ‘great gear’ alone to make an outstanding recording. They know that it is also ‘great people’ who will bring their talent and skills, which they are happy to share.  We are lucky to have one of the very best as our producer/engineer, Johnny Gasparic.

Johnny brings a wealth of experience to any project.   His proficiency as a producer, engineer and musician, not only helps our clients to achieve  ‘quality’ recordings, but also helps them save time and money.

Johnny has been fortunate to have been trained under renowned producer Mutt Lange, and Ozzy Osbourne’s engineer, Kevin Churko.  This has allowed him to use his skills on a wide variety of music projects from Rock to Rap, Country to Folk and to understand  “where the bar is at” for high quality recordings.

Some past highlights include working in the studio with artists’ like, Snoop Dogg, Gord Bamford, Andrew F, Jo Hikk and The Poverty Plainsmen, which he engineered their top 10 country hit, ‘Sister Golden Hair.’ (May 2005)

He also recorded the Saskatchewan based metal band, ‘Into Eternity’, which helped them land an international 5-album deal with Los Angeles record company, ‘Century Media’.

Johnny Gasparic’s work has also been nominated for numerous awards including   several CCMA nominations, WCMA nominations, (where he won the award for “best engineer” 2005), and even a couple of GRAMMY nominations for recording world renowned polka king, Walter Ostenek.

Some recent recordings, which are garnering attention, include, the new CD by rock guitar virtuoso Chris Bullen. This recording has caught the ears’ of Steve Vai and will be released soon on Steves’ digital nation label.

Also generating “buzz” in Calgary, is the new single from underground art rock sensations Silent Panic, currently spinning on radio.

Johnny also recently engineered new CD’s for country artists such as Jo Hikk, Craig Moritz, Katie Love Hess and Shane Chisholm, as well as rock acts Andrew F, The Dudes, Silo, Crystal Kid, and Fireside Riot.  All of which are seeing success at radio, on the net, and with CD/download sales.
